ENTERING TEAMS ( Team Roping)

1. Open the Entry screen.

Select the event, and then go to the roping entry section in the upper right of the screen.

Go to the text box below the “Contestant” label, and either click the drop down or , start typing a name ( last name ) first then a “,” and then a first name, if the contestant is in your database the name will appear, if the contestant is NOT in you existing list then hit your tab key, and a “Add Member” popup will come up, complete the information you need, but BE SURE to add the number rating at the bottom of the screen, click Create New member, and the program will return you to the entry screen, retaining the name and rating number information you just added.

If you are recording member/contestant membership numbers you can type the Member # in the box for either the header or Heeler, and if there is a contestant with the number you typed in the name will come up in the “contestant” text box.

In this example screen shot – there are 2 types of entry Entry ID 1 & 2 are “PICK ENTRIES”, this means you picked both the Header & Heeler parts of the entry, Entry ID 3, 4, & 5 are a “Pick & Draw Entry” in this example you “PICKED” the #3 Entry, and added a “Draw Entry “ for each roper, by placing a 1 in the “# of Draws” text box, as are Entry ID’s 6, 7 & 8, Entry ID’s 9 & 10 are “Draw Entries “ only.
